4 Fantasy Writing Lessons I made for cover work

A ready-to-use bank of fantasy writing cover lessons designed to provide meaningful, high-quality work when a class is taught by a non-specialist or supply teacher.

This resource is a small, carefully designed bank of fantasy writing cover lessons, created to ensure pupils are completing purposeful, curriculum-aligned work during cover lessons rather than low-impact filler tasks. Just in case you're off for more than one day, and you really don't want to worry about setting work. They are good enough for you to just use though if you want to do some narrative writing and don't want to plan it at the weekend.

The lessons are suitable for use across KS3 and lower KS4 and work well as part of a wider writing curriculum or as standalone cover tasks.

The resources are editable so they are flexible, easily adapted, by any teacher. There's a vocabulary mat slide that you can print for visually impaired pupils or pupils who find it hard to look at the board.
