Magazine Article about YouTube Thumbnails

Here is an article I wrote about the tabloidistion of YouTube, in particular the thumbnails, but I do make a broader point about social media. It seems to be crossing that boundary from being engaged by outrage to being engaged by fear or pain. I'm going to (hopefully) put in a magaziney, newsletter type thing that I start in the new year, but who knows if I'll be able to pull that off. Anyway, in the mean time, it might produce some good discussion fodder for a persuasive writing lesson or a PSHE session in tutor time. Use as you wish.
